She is pictured falling asleep in the car on the way back and on the couch and having a quick little snack in between naps too.
The post comes with a caption that says: “Picked my dog up from her dental cleaning and she was not afraid because she was not really with us on this planet.” Followed by: “She’s back on planet Earth now.”

If you are wondering whether dogs need their teeth brushed, the answer is yes, they do. VCA Animal Hospitals experts say that more than 80 percent of dogs over the age of 3 have periodontal disease. This starts out as gingivitis caused by plaque and often progresses to involve the bony tooth sockets.
The experts suggest brushing your pup’s teeth at least three times a week to help remove plaque and prevent tartar accumulation, for at least 30 seconds each time.
Their website says: “Plaque forms in as little as six hours after your dog’s dental cleaning. A home dental care program including regular tooth brushing is a must. Your veterinarian will provide you with detailed instructions on how to brush or rinse your dog’s teeth.”
The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 1.5 million views and 211,000 likes on the platform.
One user, Dana, commented: “What do they give them. I’ve never seen a dog this high lol.” And permanentrose537 said: “I’m a vet tech and I love seeing our derpy anesthesia babies daily lol.”
Chandler the Cockatoo wrote: “I was visiting my dog at the vet and the whole team was singing this to a dog while he cried, putting his IV in.” And Raerenebro said: “The way dogs just cannot hold their bums up when drugged is the cutest thing ever lmao.” jessicalamb91 added: “Sitting every way but correctly in the car is so real.”
